IT WAS ACTUALLY NICE

Erin and Richie opened the pool about 3 weeks ago. Of course the water was cold, but the girls were ready to swim as soon as possible. Erin said they actually were turning blue. With the nice weather we have been having the water temps are finally really nice. Yesterday the girls spend about an hour in the pool. I didn't have a bathing suit with me because I had no intentions of getting in that pool yet. I did sit by the pool with my legs in and the water was actually very nice. We leave for vacation tomorrow in the Outer Banks and our house has a heated pool. That's my type of pool with temps in the 80's. Here are a few pictures of the girls enjoying the pool last year.

OUR LITTLE RED HEADED BABIES

I looked over my blog and noticed that Marshall hasn't been around for a bit so here are a few pictures of Marshal and his big sister Dylann. They certainly seem to enjoy whatever they are doing.

Marshall enjoying the swimming pool for the very first time.
Can't wait to enjoy him this summer when we swim.
Dylann loves the pool.

What a pretty little girl.

Sweet little Marshall.
I can't believe he is 8 months old already.

LITTLE BALLERINA'S

Nana and Pappy enjoyed a ballet recital yesterday. Tayler and Sydney are the cutest little ballerina's I have ever seen. When the music for Sydney's dance began she just began moving right to the music. She looked so cute and kept right up with the other little girls until she noticed the little girl beside her was crying. Sydney didn't know what to do. She wasn't sure if she should keep dancing or comfort the little girl beside her. She kept dancing, but kept an eye on her for the rest of the routine. Tayler's routine was more in the line of gymnastics and she did a great job. I think this will probably be the last year where she will be in dance because I'm sure she will change to gymnastics. Pappy gave both of his girls flowers for the wonderful job they did. Check them out.

GRANDPARENT DAY

Pappy and I were able to enjoy our very first Grandparent Day at Tayler's elementary school. We had a great time seeing what she does day to day in school. Following what would be her regular routine in school we played a few games and then we went to an elementary school assembly. I think I can actually remember going to assemblies before, but they are my own children's not my time in school. I must be getting old because I don't remember any type of assembly when I went to school.
A side view of our little Ms Tayler

She must be related to me.

She is on my lap and I have a white shirt on.
What a fun day we had and look forward to attending many more Grandparent Days as our grandchildren grow older.

TWO COUSINS HAVE FUN

A few Thursdays ago Dylann visited with Sydney while Ryann went shopping with Marshall. The girls had a lot of fun. They were little princesses, watched TV, and played outside. I don't have a lot of pictures of them playing outside for some reason, but they had a very good time riding bikes, riding scooters, kicking the soccer ball around and running races. I also took many pictures of them dressed up as little princesses, but for some reason some of them are blurry. No matter what the pictures look like they had a great time. Today we had Grandparent Day at Tayler's school so those pictures will follow shortly.
Hanging out on the small jungle gym.
You can hardly see Dylann.

Two sweet girls who are having fun.

Come on Dee, let's smile.

This was ring a round the rosy.

Sydney is in to posing just like Tayler did.
I think she is trying to convince Dee she needs to pose too.

CELEBRATING MOTHER'S DAY

Mother, Ma, Mama, Mom, Mommy......Don't understand why the sound is so similar in most of the languages? Ma is universal and is the most important word and person. To these little ones Mommy is the most important word and person to them. They all love their Mommy's so much. Wishing Happy Mother's Day to our Mommy's......Love, Tayler, Sydney, Dylann, Marshall Tayler and Sydney having fun.
