NO I DID NOT FORGET

  • Yes, I know I have a blog and I should be posting. I lost my camera and was not able to take pictures for the last week or so. Well it is back in my hands so I will be able to take pictures once again. I though I'd post one of each of our grandchildren just to remind you just how dear they are.
Tayler spending time playing with play dough. Tayler loves anything to do with art.
She is very creative. She did a project in art class and it was chosen to be in the art show at the high school during the month of April.
Dylann enjoyed a hayride in the Fall. Dylann loves to be outside. I know she can't wait to get outside and play on her swing set and ride her bikes and tractor.

Sydney.
I really should have a picture of her surrounded by baby dolls. I do not know of anyone who is more in love with really babies or her baby dolls.

Our little guy Marshall.
This little guy is so full of smiles.
This little boy is also a crawler. If there is any thing around that he can climb on to get on to something else Marshall will find it and up he will go.
We are so happy that he is home and doing so well.

OUR MYA GIRL

Nine years ago, before Matt and Ryann were even married they bought Mya. Mya was a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. She was such a nice dog who was friendly to everyone. Unfortunately Mya began displaying certain symptoms which concerned both Matt and Ryann. After seeing the vet and many test it was determined that Mya had a brain tumor. How sad. Not wanting Mya to suffer Matt and Ryann made the brave decision to put Mya to sleep. We will miss Mya as she brought us much joy.

DYLANN VISITS THE DENTIST

Dylann had an appointment at the dentist on Monday to have some dental work done. This is the same dentist that Erin uses for the girls and I know first hand that they have a great play room. Dylann enjoyed playing for a period of time before being called back for her appointment. Dylann dressed in pink for Valentines Day and she was an adorable little Valentine.
On the chair and wondering what in the world they had on her finger.
They were just keeping track of her O2.
Pappy and I are now dealing with the tummy flu. Can't keep anything down. My prayer is that we are the end of the list and this will not start all over for them. Our grandchildren and children have all had it and with what they have all been through they don't need to start all over again. Keep us in your prayers.

BOOTS AND FEW MORE

We are so glad that Marshall is home from the hospital and doing so well. Yesterday Dylann had some dental work that needed done so Nana and Pappy stayed with Marshall. Pappy also went over to pick up Sydney from Pre School. She came over and played with Marshall until Dylann got home. We had an interesting time with no power, which meant no TV, not hot lunch, and pretty much staying in the living room. The rest of the house was rather dark. Here are a few picture from yesterday and one from today when Marshall decided to play the boot game once again.

Dylann holding Marshall steady while he has on Dylann's rain boots.
It looks like Marshall will need a pair for Spring time.

A group hug.
Dylann home from her procedure, but is really sleepy. They played a few minutes and took off to Sydney's home where she was once again not feeling well.

OUR LITTLE GUY IS HOME

After only two days in the hospital Marshall is home and very happy to be there. Last evening he was doing so well. Ryann did a video of him and took the first picture. You can tell he is so happy to be feeling better. He has breathing treatments to do at home and he is on two steroids to take over the next five day. One is a liquid, the other an inhalant. Of course he still has the medication for the ear infection to finish. Ryann said that when she did the video of him you could tell the steroids were starting to kick in. Hopefully he will be able to sleep tonight and that his Mommy will get some good rest. I do believe that she is very tired. Dylann is now dealing with the same problem Marshall had on Sunday evening of throwing up. Hopefully she will be able to get through this quickly and with not to much of a problem. You know the old saying, "when it rains, it pours". Well I think that has been happening around here. One very happy boy.

OUR LITTLE MAN

Marshall has been dealing with symptoms of a cold for many weeks. Yesterday he was to the doctor and they gave him a breathing treatment and said he also had an ear infection. Last night he was very lethargic and have trouble breathing. They took him to Carlisle Hospital. They were able to stabilize him and transfer him to Harrisburg Hospital. His oxygen level was in the low 90's and his pulse was 180. They did lots of blood work, put him on oxygen and an IV. He is finally doing much better and his oxygen level is 100 on his own. Here are few pictures of our little guy.
Finally sleeping peacefully and receiving another antibiotic treatment

SOMEONE ELJOYS THE WEATHER

It bright and sunny today and my only hope is that it will remain that way.
When we walked to church this morning we actually had to walk on the roads.
The sidewalks were still icy. I know the kids have enjoyed playing in the snow and even sledding, but enough is enough. I'm ready for Spring. Here are two pups that have had fun in the snow and ice storm of the last week.

A LOOK AROUND TOWN

This blog is always about our family. The weather we are dealing with is keeping me from seeing my babies. So I decided that I would share some of the pictures that others have taken around our town. Well mostly it's at the end of our street. Right now there are not many venturing far from home. Enjoy these pictures of God's handiwork.

Beautiful

We are very fortunate that our power is still on.
The lines are hanging low and there others near us with power,
but we have lights and we are warm.
Near the old town's train station.

Many miles east of us.
A rainbow.

A SNOWMAN

Ryann and Marshall's first snowman. Evidently it took
Daddy forever to build it because the snow would not pack. He finally used water and was able to make it work. I think Daddy is a very good Daddy. Ryann said on facebook that they look out the window to see him and Marshall even waves at Mr Snowman. I love that even our families snowmen are Penn State fans.

Marshall is finally able to wear his new snowsuit that Nana and Pappy got him for Christmas.

CAN WE PRETEND

FREEZING RAIN, ICE, SNOW...CAN WE PRETEND THAT THIS ISN'T HAPPENING?
Today is our day to be with Dylann and Marshall....We are home, Ryann has no customers that could get to her house. Matt is working from home. Tayler has no school so she and Sydney get to spend the day together. The only person working, I believe, is Erin. Brave girl! I heard that tonight and early tomorrow morning are to a little worse so I am thinking that it will be more of the same for all of us. Hopefully if it is worse Erin will be able to be home with her girls.
Well I looked through my pictures and decided to check out Tayler and Sydney's trip to Disney.
Seeing our grandchildren or just pictures of them always makes it warm in our hearts.
Our two little Hula girls
Aren't they sweet?

Sydney checking out the other children.
Aww, Tayler looks a little shy.
The end of one day
And
Another sunny day.
