HAPPY BIRTHDAY SYDNEY

 It is so hard to believe that Syndey LeeAnn is 5 years old.

It  seems like time is  flying by.  Sydney had a special day.  Her Mommy took off work and they were able to spend the entire day together.  They picked up Dylann this morning and off they went to Build a Bear and out to lunch.  We were at Dylann's babysitting Marshall while his mommy was working in the shop.  I was glad  we got to see her and wish her Happy Birthday"  in person  Tonight Tayler had a soccer game so we were able to visit her once again.  Here are a few pictures  I took of her.  She looked so cute in her new dress.  I'm not sure what all she got for her birthday this morning, but I do know she got and IPod.  That seems like such a so grown up for a little girl. Tayler has one, so I'm pretty sure this is "Tayler has one and I need one".

OFF TO THE COUNTY FAIR

 Matt and Ryann were able to take the children to visit the county fair this past weekend. They were able to get some cute pictures of Dylann and Marshall enjoying everything the fair had to offer, except food and I know  they had something good to eat.  The above pictures shows Dylann enjoying a ride.  It doesn't look like she minds going round and round in a circle.  All of the children enjoy carnival rides and none of them seem to get sick. Much different than their Pappy.  He gets  sick riding in a car  so I guarantee they will never have Pappy on a ride with them.

ONE OF OUR BIRTHDAY GIRLS, SYDNEY WITH HER COUSIN DYLANN

I said on Tuesday or Wednesday evening that I had a lot of pictures to post, but at  that point I was to tired to download pictures, make any corrections that are needed, post them and try to come up  with something to write about each pictures.  Today we were finally able to celebrate both girls birthdays.   Sydney will celebrate her birthday one more time on Tuesday when she and her cousin, Dylann along with Mommy are going to spend the day together.  They will go out for a lunch  or a "brunch" and then they will go to Build A Bear.  Sounds like it has been a very good birthday month for both Tayler and Sydney.  Tayler was to have her big birthday party on the date of her birthday, but Sydney got sick, so that  put an end to that party.  A few days had passed and Erin took Tayler for her very first pedicure.  I understand from Mommy this was something she loved and would enjoy having it done weekly.  Tayler became very busy with soccer, but Erin was finally able to pull Tayler's orginal group of friends that were coming to her birthday.  On Friday they all went to have their finger and toe nails done, especially so they would like nice for their first day of school which is tomorrow. I'm not up on all that went on, but I believe they were out for pizza for lunch also.  It seems to me I am missing something else, but can't figure out what it is, but one thing for sure I know Tayler had a wonderful birthday. 

Sydney so far has enjoyed all that has gone on with her birthday party.  She was included in Tayler's so that was good for her and on Tuesday she will be able to complete her birthday.  I know that we all had a nice meal at their house, enjoyed cupcakes for their birthday, received a few fun gift cards and had a good time playing with their family and their friends.

HAVE PICTURES - NEED TIME

YES, I HAVE PICTURES - NOW I NEED TIME TO PREPARE A POST OR TWO OR THREE.  SOCCER IS UPON US, ALONG WITH SCHOOL STARTING, SO THE FUN BEGINS.  YESTERDAY WE WERE WITH DYLANN AND MARSHALL.  TAYLER HAD A GAME BEGINNING AT 6.  WE ARE USUALLY FINISHED AT DYLANN AND MARSHALL'S AROUND 4 ON TUESDAY, WHEN DADDY GETS HOME.   HE WAS IN NEW JERSEY ON BUSINESS MONDAY AND TUESDAY AND I KNOW HE ENJOYED  GOING OVER TO THE MEADOWLANDS TO SEE THE BEARS AND THE GIANTS IN A PRESEASON GAME.  HE HAD HOPES OF BEING HOME AT HIS NORMAL TIME   ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON, BUT THE "EARTHQUAKE"  HELD HIM UP IN TRAFFIC.  EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN STORY TO SHARE ABOUT THAT DAY, SO WE WILL INCLUDE THOSE  ANOTHER TIME. 

OUR WEEK BEGAN AS USUAL WITH CHURCH SUNDAY. MONDAY, AS I POSTED EARLIER, WE SPENT THE DAY WITH PAPPY'S FAMILY IN CHAMBERSBURG.  TUESDAY MORNING ROLLED AROUND AND OUR FUN BEGAN.  DON'T GET ME WRONG, I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO THINK THAT I DON'T ENJOY ANY OF THIS, BECAUSE I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE SPENDING TIME WITH MY GRANDCHILDREN.  AS THEY BECOME OLDER AND ARE BUSY IN SCHOOL, PRESCHOOL ACTIVITIES, SPORTS, DANCE AND ANYTHING ELSE THEY HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN IS FUN, FUN, FUN.  
NOW I'M BACK TO TUESDAY AM.  WE HAD A GREAT DAY WITH OUR TWO YOUNGEST GRANDCHILDREN.  THEIR DADDY WAS HOME IN PLENTY OF TIME FOR US TO LEAVE THEIR HOME AND GET TO TAYLER'S SOCCER GAME. WE WERE UP EARLY TODAY AS RON HAD A DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT.  FOLLOWING THAT WE TOOK CARE OF A FEW THINGS BEFORE PICKING UP TAYLER AND SYDNEY AT THE BABYSITTER.  WE WAITED AT THEIR HOUSE A SHORT WHILE UNTIL MOMMY GOT THERE AND THEN WE WERE OFF TO SYDNEY'S FIRST SOCCER GAME.  I CAN'T WAIT TO SHARE THAT WITH YOU.   SHE WAS SO CUTE.   WE JUST GOT HOME AND IT WILL NOT BE LONG BEFORE WE ARE UP AND OFF TO SPEND TOMORROW WITH TAYLER AND SYDNEY.  TOMORROW IS OUR LAST DAY TO WATCH THE GIRLS BEFORE SCHOOL BEGINS.  SATURDAY WE HAVE TWO SOCCER GAMES TO ATTEND.  SYDNEY'S IS 9 AND TAYLER'S GAME IS AT 11.  SUNDAY WE WILL BE CELEBRATING  BOTH GIRL'S BIRTHDAY.  HOPEFULLY WE WILL NOT BE RAINED OUT BY THE HURRICANE THAT IS TO BE TRAVELING UP THE COAST.  IT WOULD BE NICE TO JUST SIT OUTSIDE AND WATCH ALL OF OUR GRANDCHILDREN RUN AND PLAY TOGETHER.  STAY TUNED;  THERE IS MUCH TO SHARE.

ASHLYNN - OUR GREAT NIECE

Our nephew, Tyler and his wife, Sarah, recently became the proud parents of Ashlynn Virginia.  She is a beautiful little girl and we were thrilled to meet her.  Although we have four grandchildren of our own, our youngest is almost two years old.  I just loved holding a precious little newborn again.  Erin has been sending Tayler and Sydney's clothes to Ashlynn and we had four more container of clothes to take down.  Ron was becoming concerned that Ashlynn might grow out of some of them if we didn't get them to her.  We decided to spend today in Chambersburg visiting Ron's sister, Detsie, Ashlynn's grandma.  We of course were able to see Sarah, Tyler, and our other nephew Jacob.  After visiting them we stopped in to see his parents.  Ron was busy taking pictures of Ashlynn and he was finally able to get a few pictures of her with her eyes open.  She is an adorable little girl.

SOCCER SEASON BEGINS

Soccer season begins this week.  The girls have been practicing for a few weeks and the actual games begin Tuesday.  Sydney will be joining Tayler on the soccer field this year.  Tayler plays on Tuesday evenings and Sydney plays on Wednesday and they both play on Saturday.  Sydney at 9 and Tayler at 11:30.  It should be a busy, fun season.  I can't wait to see how Tayler does since she moves up to an older group and Sydney will be playing in the group that Tayler played in the last few years.  I can't wait to see Sydney playing.  She will be so adorable.  Stay tuned for pictures.

HERE COMES THE BRIDES

Hot summer days with so much to do.  It is the end of summer and we have done so much.  Today we decided to play "Here Comes The Bride"  I have my mom's wedding dress, my dress, and their mom's dress.  When I showed Tayler my mom's dress and her comment was "today that would be a birthday dress" and "boy was she skinny. My mom would have loved that last comment.  They had a ball playing in them, but they were much to big and it was hard get any pictures of them .  The veil was enough to tell the story.

A DAY AT HERSHEY PARK

Hershey Park was our birthday present to the girls this year.  I believe that I mentioned this earlier in the summer that we bought them yearly passes.  Since this is birthday month for Tayler and Sydney I thought it would be fun to share a few pictures of the girls enjoying some of the birthday present.  Tayler's birthday is Saturday.  I can't believe that she will be 8 years old.  Where in the world did the time go?  Hopefully I will be able to do a birthday blog for her tomorrow.  She has a sleep over birthday party tomorrow night.  Then Tayler and Sydney will celebrate their birthdays with a swim party at their pool on the 19.  Then we will all celebrate  one more time for Sydney's on the 27 of August with Matt, Ryann along with Dylann and Marshall.  Of course Nana and Pappy will be there too.  Tayler will be back to school on Sydney actual birthday so I believe Nana and Pappy will try to do something special for Sydney on her actual birthday on the 30.  Sydney will be 5.  Oh where does the time go?
