A HIKE TO FLAT ROCK

Erin and Tom enjoy hiking and one of their favorite place to go to is called Flat Rock.
I know that the view from their is beautiful any time of the year, but right now it would hard to beat.

 Tom
Recently they took Makenzie and Camryn along with them.
Tayler and Sydney want to join them, but they had a birthday party to go to.
Now that it has snowed in our area, they may have to wait awhile.

OCTOBER IS NOT JUST ABOUT HALLOWEEN

More of the girls enjoying Hershey Park in the Dark

Do you like our pumpkins?
 Camryn
The girls came into our home on Thursday evening after watching the parade and trick or treating.  The first thing they did was dump all their candy on the bar and traded with each other.  There was a bit for the adults too.
Tayler
She looks pretty good even  with a green face.
Sydney's school had a Halloween parade at her preschool.
She is a pretty cute butterfly.
Here they come.
I love this picture.  She's so cute.
Now it is time for parents and grandparents to take their pictures.
Tayler and Mckenzie
It looks like Pappy was looking for some candy too.
One more.
I do hope to have a few of Dylann and Marshall soon.  I need to visit their Mommy's facebook to see if she has any posted.  Poor little Dylann was sick for Halloween.  To make it matters worse we ended up with many inches of snow so the hayride was postponed too.  She had been looking forward to that for over a week.

A STORY BEHIND EVERY PICTURE

There are always many pictures that tell different stories.  Here are a few. I want to get them posted before I finish our Halloween pictures.
Dylann - just looking pretty

LEGO TOWER
Marshall and Dylann love to building towers.  Maybe I should say Dee loves building them and Marshall loves knocking them down

This just might be one of the biggest they have built.
Marshall's new outfit.
He was in his sister's room and was dressed in his shirt and pants.
He walked out without his pants on and had sister's purple sparkly shoes on.
Don't I look cute?
He knows how to dress and he makes sure his outfits  match.
Marshall loves to sweep.  He dressed just to get the job done.

The children celebrates trick or treat and the big parade. The have carving  pumpkins and on Saturday they go on a hay ride  They are looking so forward to it.

Marshall has a cookie,  but wanted nothing to do the mask.

MORE HALLOWEEN

I finished doing my earlier post and went to facebook.   The first thing I noticed was that Erin had posted a few pictures of the girls visiting Hershey Park this evening.  Hershey was celebrating Halloween  by having "Hershey Park in the  Dark"..  I'm sure they had a wonderful time.   The girls had a busy day which began with their soccer party in the early afternoon.   They played a couple games of soccer, had treats and ended the party with the kids getting their trophies.  For young kids there is nothing better than getting a trophy

Do you notice that they all are carrying their bags and are ready to fill them with candy?
More of the same, but it is a different picture.
Tayler and the pumpkin man.
Makenzie and Sydney....Taking a rest on the pumpkin man.

This is the week of Halloween.  I know that there is a party in both Tayler and Sydney's classrooms this week.   Dylann and Marshall will be enjoying a hayride again this year.  They had a wonderful time last year on the hayride.  Dylann has been talking about it for the last few weeks and is anxious to enjoy it again this year..  Of course we have the parade on Thrusday evening along with trick or treating.  I'm  pretty sure there will be a few more posts on Halloween.

A TASTE OF HALLOWEEN

.It is the time of year when kids and adults  start thinking about what they are going to be for Halloween.  I know our three little girls have  been talking about it and showing us what they might be.  While waiting for Erin to get home from work on Thursday Sydney put her Halloween outfit on for us.  I know that she will be a very cute butterfly.  Dylann has been talking about being a princess for at least a month.  As far as to what Tayler is going to be, I know it has to something to do with her hair being dye black.. I also wonder if it has anything to do with putting on lip stick.
This is not the first time that I've seen Tayler in lipstick that  belonged to me.
She was a little over 3 years old and knew what to do with it.
At  8 years old Tayler  does a pretty good job of putting her lip stick on..
 Oh, look at me.....
Do you think Mommy will let me wear this daily?
Sydney is going to be a pretty purple butterfly.
Her mommy  is going to paint their faces to put on  the finishing touches..
Sydney was ready to trick or treat.
She even has her Mommy's pumpkin to carry her treats in.
Sydney and Tayler looking good.

She has found the lip stick and up the stairs she went.
This is what she come down looking like.
Tayler will not miss a chance for a photo.

Happy Halloween.

THE END OF A SEASON

Sydney going onto the field to warm up with Tayler's team.
It seems like Tayler and Sydney just started soccer practice and now they have  had  their final game. When Tayler 's team is playing you often see Sydney on the field doing warm ups.
Following the game  Sydney usually  joins them as they say  "good game" to the other team.. They each have a soccer party on Saturday where they will play against the other teams in their town.  Of course you cannot have a party without snacks and the all important trophy.

Tayler - Our Mini
Tayler was running off  the field  for a drink before the game began.  I asked her if she could be still so I could get a quick picture.  As you can see from this picture; she still knows how to pose.

Sydney - Our little Micky
While Sydney likes being with Tayler's team, once the game begins she is off with her friends.  There seems to be a lot of bugs around  here  due to all the rain.  By the size of the bump on her forehead it looks like Sydney ran into them.
The first quarter is over and it's time for a quick drink before heading out for another..
Tayler was looking at the pictures she had taken.
She saw this one and wanted to get rid of it.  No way, I think  it's cute.
Tayler and Bridget
They have played soccer together for 4 years and they are in the same classroom  this year..

A DAY WITH MARSHALL

 Marshall vacuuming
Marshall loves to vacuum and anytime he sees his Mommy vacuuming  he is always ready to be a helper.
Marshall and the shoulder of Pappy.
Marshall was filling Pappy in on what it takes to be big helper.
The baby pumpkin and Marshall
The Halloween decorations are up so it's time to move them all about.
Marshall with a trick or treat pumpkin is ready to go.
Actually he was saying touchdown while holding the pumpkin up.
Pappy worked with Marshall on Tuesday trying to get  him to do a double thumbs up.
This is as far as it went.
Hanging out with Pappy and enjoying his pop.
