I BETTER ADD SOMETHING

At one point I thought I'd update this blog often, but for some reason it has been hard this month.  Not sure why, but I do enjoy having this blog so I'm going to try to post more often.  That mean more pictures.  Look out Tayler, Sydney, Dylann, and Marshall and everyone else in my family.  So hear are a few pictures I've have taken over the last few weeks and not bothered to post.
One day Mommy surprised us all with lunch.  She took subway to Tayler for lunch at school and brought us all some home too.  Thanks Erin.
I really dislike pictures of me,  but I love how happy Sydney is.
Mommy eating lunch.  She may not like this picture, but another happy picture of Sydney.
Not that Sydney has a blanket, but Pappy found one she had laying around and pretended like it was his.
Sydney loves dresses and skirts and was dressed pretty this day.
Pittsburgh is Number One
Actually Pappy wanted to Sydney to get on Tom.  You know Pittsburgh has to be better than his Phillies.
Photo Shoot with Dylann.  When we first arrived Dylann was dressed so nice in jeans and a matching green shirt.  She decided she needed to change in the middle day.She thinks if there is pink in the shirt and the pants, doesn't matter if they are striped and hearts.  When Daddy came in the first things he ask Dylann if she dressed herself.
More of Dylann's photo shoot.
She would go from one pose to another.
One happy girl.
And a happy little boy
Very dark so the picture below is the adjusted light.
Dylann playing with Marshall's car set.
What's with sticking out the tongue Dylann?
Marshall knows a football, soccer ball, basketball, and a baseball.
Tayler has pretty nails always.
I can't believe how grown up she is becoming.
A happy smile from Tayler.
 New Family Pictures
I need a new picture of Matt and Ryann's family.  The children are so young in this one.
If you enlarge the pictures you will be able to see them better.

WEEKEND HAPPENINGS FOR THE ADULTS

A busy weekend, especially for the adults.  Ron and I  went to a sweetheart banquet at our church.  We had  great meal and the saw the movie  Courageous.  What an excellent movie.  Erin and Tom headed to Philadelphia to see the Flyer's play.  Not sure who won, but I'm hoping the Flyer's since that's Tom's favorite team.  Ryann made a special Valentines meal for Matt.  The pictures look great  make me hungry for a meal similar to that.
She made portabellas stuffed w crabmeat, marinated ny strips w butter dijon mustard sauce, and sautéed tomatoes w avacados. she told me he loved it! Since he always cooks for them it's his turn to have her cook:)  Everything looks great!
Apple Dumplings
Ryann did say that she hoped there were some left for Ron and I on Tuesday when we are there.  It would be great, but Tuesday is Fat Tuesday so we will be armed with donuts if there aren't any.  They do look delicious.
So that's what the six of us were up to over the weekend and I'm sure we all had a great time.

NO IT'S NOT DECEMBER 24TH.

I know I already posted pictures from the Jingle Bell Jog, but Bob and Sue posted pictures on their blog, "bobandsueontheroad" and of coure they had more of my family so I had to download them and post them here too.  I was doing a great job and had them all in order, them SOMEHOW I got them all out of order. The end is at the beginning and the beginning is at the end.  My postings often  end up that way.
Beth, Ron, Andrew and Sydney
The race is over for them and they are waiting for the others to come
Erin, Bob, Andrew
Erin was the first lady in, Bob was our host and Andrew was the first man in.
Sue, the other host, Erin, Andrew and Beth.  Beth is Sue and Bob's daughter and did much of the work for the race.
They were checking out the cupcake that was in that box.

The whole group before heading out.
The race has begun and as Bob stated on his blog, "no one stop in at King's Bakery for donuts".
They have been running for about a quarter of a mile at this point.
They are all full of energy.
Ronnie, our neighbor
He was the first child to finish and Erin and Tom are following him.

Erin and Tom running side by side.
Here comes Erin to the finish line.
Tom
I guess I should have put Tom first because he did finish before Erin.
Tom's daughter Makenzie

Doesn't she look cute as little Rudolph

MY VALENTINES

A Day of Love - I started  this very close to midnight and didn't finish it until after, but it is meant for February 14.
Today we celebrate love.  There is no one I love more that my family.  My husband and four children are so important to me and I love them so much.  My four grandchildren mean the world to me.  Today we were fortunate to spend the day with Dylann and Marshall and had an early Valentine visit with Tayler and Sydney over the weekend.  I couldn't let this day go by without acknowledging them.  In the top picture we have Marshall playing with his remote car, something he enjoys doing.
Pappy and Marshall
Marshall loves wearing his Pappy's big boots and today was no exception.  He does have trouble walking in them and always takes a tumble.  He needs to bring them to Pappy and have him put them on him.  He has to stand with him so he doesn't fall over.

Dylann didn't have big boots to wear so she put her shoes on her hands.  She is so cute!!!
Dylann holding Mommy's Valentine flowers from Daddy.
Very nice job Daddy.
Our Sweet Sydney.
These pictures were taken Sunday morning.  Always posing, just like her big sister.
Sydney was ready for church, but the sidewalks were snow covered so we stayed home.  Don't you love her frilly dress?
Tayler showing off her pretty smile.
Tayler brushing her hair 100 strokes.  She was having her pictures taken on Monday and wanted it to look beautiful.
My beautiful grandchildren as they prepare  for Valentine's Day.

We love you all and you are all so special.

SLEEPY TIME TO MORNING

The girls spent the night with us this weekend.  We had a great time and they even talked us into taking Dylann and them to  a hotel where there would be an inside swimming pool.  They plan on doing this sometime in April and hope to have a great time swimming, eating out and hopefully enjoying some time in a "BIG bathtub....  Now I just have to find a good weekend that will work out for everyone and  find such a hotel.   Here are a few pictures of the Tayler and Sydney sleeping and  waking up.  Of course you will see Sydney with a mickey in her mouth, but Pappy put it in there and took a picture quickly. Don't worry Mom, we are not starting that habit again.

Pappy playing a trick....not sure if it was on Sydney or Mommy.  Sydney has not had a mickey for at least 2 years, but we still have them in our house.  We plan on saving them for her keep sake box for when she is order, around 18.  We have so many things to give them and hopefully they will enjoy these memories.
Tayler sound asleep.  She has a little finger flashlight laying beside her.  I'm not sure why she thought she might need it, but it was there just in case.  She and Pappy stayed up late watching "America's Funniest Home Video's".  I was half asleep and kept hearing them laughing.  They had Sydney and I watch it this morning and now I know why they were laughing so much.
A big stretch from  Sydney and the mickey is still in her mouth.  It didn't take long for her to get it out.

I think that Tayler looks like she is still half asleep.  That's probably because she and Pappy were up so late.
