SPRING TIME FUN AND GRAVITY

The weather has been beautiful and children are enjoying playing outside.  On Thursday afternoon it was a perfect afternoon for a walk.  They had a great time playing in the stream and were finally ready to head home for nap time.  Coming home they had a stroller accident and as fate would have it Marshall's landing point was a broken bottle.   He did really well throughout it all, except for the stitches and I can't blame him for crying.  I think I would have cried too.  If you have trouble with blood you may not want to look at the final three pictures.

The big sister, Dylann - She tried so hard to protect her little brother when she realized they were  moving by trying to grab  a hold of a tree.  When she knew they were flipping she put her hands in front of him.  What a great big sister she is.
This reminds me of the Barney song.
I love you. You love me.

 Our happy little guy.
Marshall was having fun splashing his sister.
The BIG BAD BOO -BOO
All done and ready for the promised milk shake.
The hand is looking good and on Thursday they should come out.

HERSHEY 10 K

Erin,  2nd from left, Tom, Lindsey and Ryann is 2nd from the right

Yes I know that this blog is suppose to be about our grandchildren but today we feature our "big kids".  The Hershey 10 K  held Sunday and I believe there were about 2000 runners.  Erin, Ryann, Tom and his sister Lindsey were some of those 2,000 runners.  I was able to find a few pictures on facebook to share with you here.   I know for their first their race of the season  they were pleased with their times.
Erin and Tom
Hershey is a great place to visit.  They even headed  over to the outlets.

And this little guy was busy playing at home.

SYDNEY AND EARTH DAY

Sydney's first interview.
As is our routine on Thursday mornings we head out to have breakfast at the County Seat.  While we  were finishing up Channel 27 news came in and began interviewing individuals regarding Earth Day.  After speaking with a few people they decided to speak with our Sydney.  I love it!! Do you know what Earth Day is?  Do you know when Earth Day is?  Of course Sydney didn't and neither did the many of the adults in the room.  They did tell her a little about it and then they asked her another question.  I'm not sure what it was, but her answer was "I like swinging and I like trees".  She must have  had the right idea at that point. Of course they were filming her while talking to her and then they decided that she would be the perfect person to have "HUG A TREE".   Lindsay did get a few pictures and I'm praying that the ones that are actually on TV do not include me.    I can't wait to watch Channel 27 Morning New on Monday, April 23.  The only problem, it is at 5:30 and 6:30 AM.  Our DVR will be set to catch the Mick on TV.  I don't get up that early.
More Questions.....He did ask her how old she was.
She held up all 5 fingers, but did tell him five too.
More of Sydney's interview.
I'm thinking at this point that I need to get out of these pictures.
Lindsay was taking these so hopefully this is the only place you'll see me.
How do you hug a tree?
It's a good thing it's a small tree.
She can actually get her arms around it.
Sydney loves Earth Day.

A FEW PICTURES

NO, NO NO,   I do not have a computer that allows me to download pictures or even open my Pappy's Fountain of Youth so I can't do a new post on my computer.  Ryann did send me a few pictures from her phone.  When I was at her house today I did down load those pictures onto her computer a was able to post a few.  Hopefully someday my computer will get fixed, just not sure when.  So, we had a wonderful Easter, but stupid me,  I didn't take any pictures.  Hopefully Ryann or Erin have some on their phones and will email me them.  Then I will be able to do another post from Erin's home on Thursday.  I am hoping that I will be able to do at least 2 post a week from their homes until I am able to get this messed figured out on my computer.  Today I have two pictures of Marshall in his funny new hat.  Oh, he is so cute.  I also have a picture of Marshall and Dylann dressed as twins.  The tee shirts they are wearing are the actual design their Meme drew and was placed on the tee shirts for the Perry County Council of Arts.    The last picture was taken by Erin and placed on facbook.  ( it is also sideways, so you will have to turn sideways to look at it or turn your computer sideways) It is of Sydney and the Easter Bunny.  Sydney was so sure that this bunny was the real EASTER BUNNY and she just loved him.  Smart girl, she wanted to make sure he brought her all types of treats.  Enjoy the pictures and hopefully Thursday there will be another posting.
A nice smile from Marshall.
Looks like Marshall is enjoying his breakfast.
Marshall and Dylann,
THE CUTEST LITTLE TWINS I'VE EVER SEEN!!!
