A DAY WITH MARSHALL

 Marshall vacuuming
Marshall loves to vacuum and anytime he sees his Mommy vacuuming  he is always ready to be a helper.
Marshall and the shoulder of Pappy.
Marshall was filling Pappy in on what it takes to be big helper.
The baby pumpkin and Marshall
The Halloween decorations are up so it's time to move them all about.
Marshall with a trick or treat pumpkin is ready to go.
Actually he was saying touchdown while holding the pumpkin up.
Pappy worked with Marshall on Tuesday trying to get  him to do a double thumbs up.
This is as far as it went.
Hanging out with Pappy and enjoying his pop.

PIGGY TAILS AND A DOUBLE THUMBS UP FOR "OLD PAPPY"

Dee Dee (Dylann) is known for her beautiful red hair and the curls she has.
Her hair always looks so nice, but it does become a little wild if she's busy playing.  Yesterday I fixed her hair after she was done dressing for the day. I asked her if she wanted a ponytail, french braids, or piggy tails.  She decided on piggy tails and they looked adorable.  As the day went on we had to do the tails three different times as she wanted them to stay pretty.  She did change to different ponytail holders and added a barrette with a ribbon throughout the day.  We did them the last time, just as Daddy came up the driveway, because she wanted him to see them looking nice.  Thank goodness he stopped in the shop and talked to Mommy before coming in so were to able to get them done.

And a double thumbs up for "Old Pappy"
When Tayler was our only grandchild we would take her to the bowling alley to see her "Old Pappy" bowl.  Anytime he had a strike or spare they would give each other a double thumbs up.  This Pappy has been trying to teach Marshall to do the double thumbs up.  He does it, but doesn't leave them up long enough to get a picture taken.  It will be interesting to see if Ashlynn, Aunt Detsie's new granddaughter, will call her great grandfather "Old Pappy" too.  All of our grandchildren do and he loves it.  When Tayler was  younger we were visiting  her great grandparents  and as we prepared to leave  Tayler made the comment that he was an "Old Pappy" and Ron was a "Pappy".   It has stuck, but has never meant any disrespect.

Dee's final shot of the day.
Just not my final shot of the day.  I have pictures of Marshall taken yesterday  and  some of
Sydney and Tayler  taken  last evening at Tayler's final soccer game of the year. Sydney's game this evening was cancelled due to the rain.  Who knows if it will be made up or not.  I  am almost sorry  to see the girl's seasons end, but it's starting to get to dark to play in the evenings.

UNDERWATER

 TAYLER
I can't believe that I forgot that I had these pictures that I had copied at Erin's but forgot to post them.  These are of the girls swimming and they are all of them underwater.  They are little water babies.
Tayler looking up at the camera.  So cool
Tayler - more of the same

 Sydney loves the water too.
Sydney  is such a happy little girl.

THESE FACES HAVE BEEN MISSING

Tayler following a soccer game.
Although Tayler and Sydney had been on this blog almost every day during the middle of September they have not been on here since.  With all of the soccer games that we have been to and the days that we spend with them I should have had lots of pictures.   I just never had my camera with me.  Finally I had the camera with me this week, but did not remember to take a picture until we were leaving the soccer game on Wednesday evening.  The above picture was taken when I was leaving her game.

 Sydney
Tayler use to be the model.  Now Sydney is following in her footsteps.
 Sydney again.
Sydney always picks her own clothes.  Doesn't she look nice.

It looks like she's getting ready to give him a hug.
There they are again....What a great picture.
More of Sydney...putting on a show.

LICKING THE BOWL

Dylann and Marshall
Anyone that ever enjoyed licking the batter can appreciate how much these two enjoyed this.
Chocolate faces and all.
I think Marshall is asking Mommy if there is any more.
This bowl looks like they got the most of it.
Dylann with a chocolate mustache.
Marshall is making sure he gets every taste.
Dylann is just having fun.
Fun times.
Marshall is checking to see if there is any chocolate left.
Who Me?
That's a messy face.
Dylann with a spoon full.
Now that was fun.

HELPING DADDY WORK

Marshall wonders how he is going to get out of this.
When you own a house and you have children you are always busy.  Busy with all the maintenance that comes with your home and busy making sure children are well taken care of.  Matt has a very large yard and is often busy with grass to mow.  He also has many other things that need taken care of around their house.  Matt was recently putting in post holes.  Of course his little ones were very interested in all he does so that's why they are in these holes.
Still in the hole.

Dylann looks happy about this.
It looks that Dylann is trying to push herself out.

Marshall and Daddy
Daddy must be taking a break from serious mowing to take the little ones for rides.
I'm sorry these are so large.  They were small on Ryann's computer, but for some reason they downloaded very large on mine.  What's even more strange is some are big others normal size.  At least with the big pictures you will be able to see a small portion of the yard Matt has to mow.
More Mowing
I wonder how much Marshall love riding the mower in about fifteen years?
Marshall watching and waiting for another ride.
In this large picture you can see how the woods surrounds their home and the dogs playing.
Dylann and Daddy enjoy a ride.
In this picture you can see the swing set / sand box area along with the one picnic table and fireplace.
More mower fun
Check out all the firewood Matt has ready for winter.  It has been so cold here this weekend he probably could have used it.

CHEERING FOR PENN STATE

Dylann placing the Penn State flag for the game.  She is also dressed in her Penn State clothes.
During the Fall it is always another Saturday another Penn State football game.  Dylann has always been a Penn State fan and has dress the part too.
The job is done and it's time to go in a watch the game.
This flag is always placed just by the front porch every Saturday morning when Penn State is playing.
Dylann's got it right.  Penn State is number one.
