HULA HOOP FUN

The girls each have a hula hoop, but recently one of them broke. Of course neither wanted to say whose hula hoop it was that broke. Pappy was able to bring the broken one home and got a dial rod to hook it together again. He also put red duck tape where he put the rod and put red duck tape at every quarter so it looks brand new. When he took it back to the girls they both decided at that point that that the new hoop belonge to each of them. I guess they have figured it out by now. Here are a few pictures of them each trying to do the hula hoop. Tayler does a great job with the hula hoop, but Sydney still has a little trouble with it. She can start, but only twist it about twice and then it's around her ankles.

You would not believe how many "watch me Nana" I got.
Around it goes.
Now Tayler is ready to give it a try.
Pretty soon it will be at her ankles. I do find it interesting that the girls are using the hula hoops with bike helments on. I guess they are taking rides between hula hoops.

Tayler giving it a try.

All done Sydney

Tayler is doing a pretty good job keeping it up.

I think the hoop is on it's way down.

MARSHALL G.

AH, PICTURES.

I finally have lots of pictures of all four grandchildren so there is no reason for the blog not to be updated more than once a week. I decided to start with Marshall and I'm not sure why. Maybe because he is just so darn cute. That is not to say that our girls aren't as cute because they are. Anyone that reads my blog knows how sick little Marshall was this winter. We are so happy that he is back to being the busy, happy, nice little boy.

Poor little guy.

It breaks my heart to see him like this, but he handled the treatments so well.
Although it has been such a wet Spring Marshall and his sister were able to get outside and play on their swing set. I was surprised that he was swinging on a big kids swing and not his baby swing.

Now I know that Tayler, Sydney and Dylann all have this hat, but I'm pretty sure that Marshall doesn't have on. He does look really cute though.

Ready to go down the slide.

Looks like Marshall found a cute little seat in the basket.

Not sure what he is checking out here.

In the bottom drawer of the hutch.

Up the ladder he goes.

Oh, he makes me nervous, but he does a great job climbing everywhere.

At the picnic table.
I guess he thinks it time for picnic season to begin.

Now he's in the toy box.

Just these few pictures show you just how busy Marshall is.

They also show what an adorable little guy he is.

SOMEONE IS HAVING A BIRTHDAY

Tayler and Sydney are so exicted that their mommy is celebrating her 33 birthday on Tuesday, April 19. We are picking up both girls from school today so we can get this birthday celebration going this evening. Erin is a great mom who loves her little girls so much. The three of them have so much fun together. I do think Erin is teaching her girls her great love of movies as they go to a movie usually few times a month. While Erin is keeping busy with her girls she is also a very busy with her job as a Cross System Coordinator for Cumberland and Perry MH/MR/EIP. Now if you know what all that stands for you are lucky. Erin recently received the 2011 Children's Champiion Award for the work she does with children.

Pappy and Nana want to wish our "little girl" a wonderful day and many, many more wonderful days and years to come. We love you Erin and we are so proud that you the women you have become.

Erin her senior year in high school.

She has remained friends with all of them over the years. The girls loving their mom.

I'm not sure if Erin looks happy or not.

Three beauties

What a beautiful smile

I wanted to include a few pictures of Erin by herself.

She is usually with her girls.

Girls night out.

She usually doesn't have a drink in both hands.

A Christmas Elf following the Jingle Bell Jog

Erin loves to run and she often runs many miles a day.

Getting ready for a marathon.

She decided that Tayler is going to start running with her.

Tayler told her Mommy that she was unable to run the laps that she has to in gym class.

Her mommy also told her that their was a little girl who ran in a race with her and actually beat her. Hopefully Tayler will want to run as it will be a big help for soccer season.

LOLLY POP FUN

I was so happy to find pictures of all of the children with a lolly pop in their mouth.

So this post is called Lolly Pop fun. I wished I had more than one picture of Dylann, but I don't so will have to make it up on another post.

Tayler - taking her own picture.

I really wanted to share this picture so you can see how toothless she was.

They are finally coming in so soon she will be able to eat what wants.

Tayler was so busy working on some type of craft that I had make her take a moment and look at me so I could get a picture.
Sydney loving her pop.
One a funny girl - No wonder we call her Silly Syd.
Here's Dylann enjoying a pop and a hug from her brother.
Every one's favorite, A BLUE POP.
Check out Marshall blue tongue.

We know what he enjoyed.

MATT AND RYANN

While my blog is mostly about my grand children I often share pictures of the big kids. on Matt and Ryann recently about to enjoy a weekend away. We had Marshall and Ryann's mom had Dylann. They were able to enjoy some time on the golf course and hang out at the spa. The only mishap of the weekend was Ryann forgetting her dress. Matt tried to convince her to just go buy a dress, but she was to afraid that she would not find anything. Finally they decided the best thing to do was to have Matt go half way and Ryann's mom go half way and bring the dress. Ryann said on facebook that she had a great husband. I agree. I was able to see these pictures on facebook and decided to post them here too.

MATT AND RYANN HAVE COMPANY

Sorry that I have not updated this week. I had problems with both computers and I only had time today to try to figure out what was going on. After a short talk with Matt I was finally able to get back online. It pays to have a son that knows a lot about computers. I will try to download a few pictures tomorrow so I can show a little of our week. Meanwhile Ryann sent me a few pictures so I can begin with the company they had this week.

You won't believe who they were or the trouble they caused. Actually I believe that this guy was really not very thankful for the food that Matt and Ryann provided him. Actually they don't have a picture of him, but do have a picture or two of the damage he caused. He really didn't have any manners. First he ate the food they had out for him and then he continued to rip the containers that held the food to shreds. Do you have any idea who this might have

been? I PROMISE IT WASN'T THE EASTER BUNNY. IT WAS A BEAR!!!!!!!!!

I know the first night he visited he checked out the squirrel feeder. Marshall is really interested in this mess. One that he didn't cause. Just kidding. Actually the bear came back the next night, but there are no pictures of the damage he did then. That night he decided to visit the bird feeder. Instead of just having a treat he decided to take the whole bird feeder with him. Pappy wondered if I would be interested in camping out on our land which is beside Matt and Ryann's house. NOT INTERESTED!!!!!!!!

THE LITTLE MAN

Nana and Pappy had a wonderful weekend when we were able to spend it with our dear little man, Marshall. His mommy and daddy were away for the weekend attending a wedding. We spent a little time on Saturday morning with Dylann until she went to visit her Memi. Here are a few pictures of some of the fun he had. Actually the most fun he probably had was on Sunday when he went to Sunday School and Church. He was so well behaved and loved the time between the two services. During that time he wandered around talking or at least looking at everyone. He found a little riding toy in the nursery and loved riding it around too. I didn't take my camera so I have no pictures of that, but boy they would have been so cute.

Marshall with a block on his finger.

Pappy had picked up all the blocks and Marshall dumped them again and again.
Home from church with Pappy's hat on.
What is on my head?
Oh my....Marshall had a love for this little step.

Tayler use to love to lay on it when she was little too.

I will have to look for pictures of

Tayler on the same little step.
