THE GIRLS LEARNED LEGO BUILDING FROM PAPPY

My girls love Lego blocks. Dylann will be receiving her third set of Lego blogs from us tomorrow. Here are a few pictures of Tayler, Sydney and a little friend building towers with Lego's. Pappy taught them well.

Much taller than them.

Great job girls.

Sydney looking for something to stand on.

A LITTLE BIT OF TAYLER AND A LITTLE BIT OF SYD

I wish I had more pictures of Tayler and Sydney, but my camera cord is not working and I have yet to get a new one. When I am at their house I use their camera and try to take a few pictures. Here are a few when the girls were outside enjoying some very nice spring weather.
Swinging - Notice their Penn State sweat shirts.
Tayler had been sick, but the first thing she wanted to eat were potato chips.
I bet that's good for your tummy.

I don't know if Syd is getting on or off the swing.
Sydney was pushing Tayler and decided she wanted on the swing.
She came running around to jump on.
Tayler always beats her to the swing.
It's those long legs of hers.
Just like her mommy.

WHY THIS PICTURE???

You may be wondering why I am posting this picture of the back of Dylann's head. The reason is because I love her naturally curly hair. From someone who hair is a straight as can be you would give anything to have hair that curls like this. Isn't it beautiful

Dylann's curls

HELPING DADDY

A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to have some very summer like weather. Matt took some time to do some work in their lane, filling in some potholes and such. He had a great little helper in Dylann.
Some of the most precious cargo he has.

She was hard at work leveling out the stones.

I wonder if Matt is asking Ryann why she's not helping like their daughter?
I guess someone has to take pictures!

Come on Dylann, Daddy's waiting for your help

Busy filling her wheelbarrow.
Like Daddy, Like Daughter.

A DADDY AND HIS BABIES

Most of my blog pictures are all about Marshall and Dylann. That's because I don't have any pictures of Tayler and Sydney. I plan to take care of that on Monday and there will be pictures / posting of these two precious little girls too. We are all ready for Spring as the entire family seems to have finally had the flu or something over this Winter. I think I was the last to get it and I was actually thinking I was going to be blessed and not get it. The little ones have all had colds and Sydney had croup. She sounds so bad. Little Marshall has had a cough, cutting teeth, but is hanging tough. Dylann had the same cough as her brother. Tayler had the stomach flu and lost her third tooth. They are all on the bottom so she and Marshall are cutting teeth at the same time. Pappy has actually had a bad Winter with a sinus infection that he can't get rid of. Hopefully with the next six to eight weeks being on antibiotics will finally get rid of it. So that is the health report of this family. It's bad that I can't think of much to write about, but that's what has been happening the last few weeks. Here are a few pictures of Matt with his little ones.
Funny expressions on both of these two .
I guess Dylann was just waking from a nap and this was what her hair looked like.
Handsome men.
Marshall's hair always stands up like he has a little spiked hair style going on.
He's cool.

SWINGING

The weather has been beautiful and the kids have been playing outside for as much of the day as possible. Tayler and Sydney spent the night on Saturday and they road their bikes up and down our back alley. They had so much fun. They usually have to go to the high school to ride their bikes because they do not have property that is safe to ride bikes on. At our house it was so simple. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of it, but believe me they were having a lot of fun. Dylann and Marshall have also been having fun outside. Dylann could play for hours kicking the ball, riding her bike and swinging. I have a few new pictures of Dylann and Marshall , but the ones of Tayler and Sydney are older. Still don't have the new camera cord so I have no pictures of Tayler and Sydney. (Thanks Ryann for sending me your pictures) I didn't want to leave them out so I included a few pictures of them swinging too.

Smile for Nana
Up and Back

Push me Pappy.

The girls love our old swing in the backyard.

While not swinging Marshall sits in his little chair and watches Dylann.

That's pretty high Dee.

And I get a turn too.

He's just perfect for this swing.

Dylann loves having her swing on the patio.

Doesn't she look happy.

ENJOYING A NIGHT OUT

Ryann's 30th birthday was on March 12. Since that was a Friday and they both had to work they decided to celebrate her birthday by going out to dinner, doing some shopping and just being alone (no little ones were around) on Saturday evening. Dylann went to her Memi's house and Marshall was with us. It was his first over night visit and he did wonderful. He went to sleep at 7:30 and woke up around 6:30. We even took him to church and he didn't make a peep. He was just the best little baby in the world. Matt does plan on having a birthday party for Ryann during the summer months. We will have a wonderful time when all of their friends and family gather to celebrate it a few months after the fact. Hopefully it will be a beautiful summer day / evening with lots of fun. Here is the one picture I have of them going out for the evening.

Matt did surprise Ryann with this birthday cake.
It tasted as wonderful as it looks.

ST PADDY'S DAY FOR DYLANN AND MARSHALL

Dylann and Marshall enjoyed St. Patrick's Day as they celebrated the heritage of their Great Grandparents. ( my mom's family were Irish) Their Memi arrived early in the morning with a visitor on her car. It was one of Dylann's favorite people, Elmo who was all dressed is his green just as Dylann and Marshall were. Follow along in these pictures to see all they were into as they celebrated this special day.

Marshall, Dylann and Elmo celebrated St Patrick's Day.
Don't they look like they are having fun?

Thanks for visiting Elmo
After visiting with Elmo they came in the house and got busy making special treats for the day.

They began by making chocolate chip cookies with green M & M's on them.

Can you say GREEN

They also have green potato soup, with green peas cooking.

Dylann and Memi working together in the kitchen as they prepared all these special treats.

Dylann Jean has the first cookie.

Mr Marshall was sleeping while the cooking was going on, but he was dressed in green too.

Am I cute or what?

A LITTLE GIRL WHO LOVES HER DADDY AND MARSHALL WITH NANA

I very rarely post pictures of myself, but Pappy took a few of me with Marshall and the big tower that Pappy and Dylann had made. Although none of the pictures include Dylann with her tower and only Marshall I thought I'd show you the big, big tower they made anyway. They would build it and then knock it down. After Dylann went to bed, Pappy continued building towers just to see how high he could make them without it falling over. The other pictures are of Dylann and her Daddy. Those two have a very special relationship and she really loves her Daddy. I'm sure the feeling is mutual. He goes back to work in his office after working from home for the past 6 months tomorrow. That will be very hard for this little girl.

Yes Marshall that is a big tower. Some day you and Pappy will build them too.
Hey little guy

Daddy makes me happy.

Pretty smiles from both.

Doesn't she look so happy?

Balloon strings covering their faces.
