JINGLE BELL JOG

The 9th annual Jingle Bell Jog took place this morning as it does every year on Christmas Eve morning between New Germantown and Blain. It is a five mile jog with it participants dressed as Christmas characters. Bob and Sue, who are friends of our and their daughter Beth sponsor this fun event. Erin ran and Pappy had decided to walk with Sydney in the jogging stroller and Tayler walking along with them. I stayed behind to set up the excellent treats we all enjoyed when the jog was over. Pappy and girls returned first after enjoying just a very short walk. Not more that 20 minutes later Tayler told me that Mommy was back. The four of us hurried out the door to greet the returning runners. Mommy was
the second runner up the lane and the first lady home. Tayler and Sydney waiting to get their jingle bells on and their angel wings too.
Mommy dressed in the green elf top, but is refusing to wear the red tights.

Sydney with her halo.

Two little angels.

Runners are all set to go.

Pappy and the girls
All bundled up and ready to go.
There is nothing like the north west wind that blows through that valley.
And they are off.
Mommy gets a hug from her girls.

It doesn't look like she ran a quick 5 miles.
Bob congratulating Andrew, Beth's husband
with a bottle of champagne
And congrats to Erin

Boy did she have a hard time opening that bottle of champagne.

Still trying to pop that cork
Finally bubbles from both bottles.
Each runner received a medal
And a T shirt.
