HANGING OUT AND WATCHING FOOTBALL

Tayler and Marshall
The college football season is winding down.  I love this time of year when we get together with the kids and watch Penn State play.  There is always tons of good food and the kids  love playing together.  I have no pictures of last Saturday's game, but these were taken during the Penn State and Ohio' State game.  We were happy with the win, but wished they could have won out and be in the Big 10 playoff. Of course the bowl season is yet to come so we will enjoy watching them.  Of course 90% of these pictures are of our grandchildren. After all this blog is all about them.

A TRICK ON MOMMY AND HAVING FUN

A trick on Mommy.
Sydney loved her pacifier and it was very hard for her to give it up.  She finally did, but Pappy decided to save a couple.  He plans on placing them in her box of souvenirs  something he is saving for all of our grandchildren.  They did not make it there yet, although it's been over a year.  He decided to have Sydney put them in her mouth so we could fool mommy.  She only had them for about 3 minutes and put them back.  I'm glad she was able to break that habit, although it wasn't easy at the time.
Pappy celebrated his 60th birthday on Tuesday, November 22.  He had a  wonderful birthday and I think he is no different than our grandchildren.  His celebration began on Saturday with a Penn State win.   Their was also plenty to eat and good company.
Tuesday we spent the day with Dylann and Marshall and we actually had a birthday sleepover with Tayler and Sydney that evening.  Tayler did not have school on Wednesday and she wanted to know if they could stay with us.  Of course we said yes.  They did not get here until almost 9 because Tom had basketball practice (he is a coach).  We were able to spend a little time together before they went to sleep.  Pappy had a doctor's appointment in the morning  so we were up early and moving.  After the doctor's we went to WalMart since Tayler had a 50 dollar gift card for selling  10 pizza's  in a school project.  We could not let her have spending money  with Sydney  having no money. We gave her a little money so she could get something too.  Sydney knew what she wanted right away, but  it was funny to watch how careful Tayler was when it came to spending money when it was hers.  Out of her 50 dollars she only spent a little over 8 dollars.  At least she has money left to spend later.

She was tired of waiting and ready to shop.
Pretty smile from Tayler.
Enjoying the ride since she knows a shopping trip is soon to happen.

Anything to pass the time.  They had Pappy's hat on.
Check out Tayler's sparkly nails.
Sydney wearing his hat too.

MORE PICTURES - A LITTLE BIT OF THIS AND THAT

 Ryann and Marshall
Before we move on to Pappy's birthday and Thanksgiving I've decided I wanted to post the end of the pictures that were taken earlier in the month of November.  The pictures are some of what Ryann posted on facebook that I had not placed on the blog.  This is the end of the birthday celebrations for this year for Tayler, Sydney, Dylann and Marshall.  As fast as time seems to go before you know it we will be celebrating them all over again.

If no one were watching Marshall I would bet he would be sitting on top of this.
That's why someone always has their eye on him.

Dylann would probably not have a problem if the doctor were to ask her to open her mouth wide.

Don't they look nice and relaxed?

GIRLS NIGHT

Dylann's birthday celebration ended with a sleep over with Tayler and Sydney.
Those girls love one another and enjoy spending time together.  They always spend time  playing dress up and all the other fun things they can get into.  Ryann told me the girls had really made a big mess in Dylann's room.  She told them that they would have to clean up  Dee's bedroom so they could make up their beds for the night.  Ryann said when she went into Dylann's room a little later  it was so neat and organized.  She said Tayler had the little desk in perfect condition and she organized the shoes and dress up clothes were all put where they belong.  Ryann said that Tayler is certainly just like her Mommy.  I did say that Erin is very organized and keeps up with everything, but she didn't start when she was eight.

That's some wild hair Dee Dee.
Yes, they are in the bathtub.
They are having a beach party and are dressed in their swim suits.
More of the beach party.
Marshall enjoys watching these crazy girls.
They are finally in water, but must still be at the beach.
They still have their bathing suits on.
They had a great time but were ready for some rest.
Sydney and Dylann are on the floor and Tayler is in bed.
Do you think that's because she's older?

THE ACTUAL BIRTHDAY DAY

On Thursday, November 10, 2011 our youngest granddaughter celebrated her 4th birthday.  They all seem to grow up to quickly.  As I said in an earlier post  Dylann is no different than any of our other  grandchildren.  They all celebrate their birthdays for about a week.  On the day of her actual birthday  I believe that it may have been only   Dylann and Marshall  having a  great time at Monkey Joe's.  Here are some of the pictures of that day and you will be able to see just how much fun they had.
Looks like their just hanging out in the bouncy house.
Marshall enjoys his ride down the slide.
Having fun.
