Dylann enjoying a piece of cake... it's not last year's birthday cake, but cake is cake.
There is a wonderful little girl who is turning 4 years old today. What a special little girl she is. When I think of the day that Dylann was born I always remember that I was unable to hold her. I was still dealing with a MRSA infection and it was a number of days until I was finally able to have her in my arms. At least I was able to look at her, but that was as far as that went. Imagine me watching Pappy hold her as I looked on. I was thrilled when my line was pulled and I could cuddle with her. What joy! How do you describe Dylann? She is very creative and a ball of energy which Pappy says springs from- her curly hair. Her hair is a beautiful shade of red ringlets and those green eyes just add to her beauty. I have always said that she is gifted and I still believe that she is. Who else before the age of four can read, know all her colors, numbers, shapes and recognizes her ABC's. She is a doll whom we love her very much and wish her a very happy birthday. She deserves nothing better and to top it off her mommy's day off is Thursday so all should be perfect.
Dylann enjoys playing dress up.
Stretching so she can show me the split she tries to do.
Styling while playing
And looking beautiful on a Sunday morning.

At her craft table
You can see why she wears an art apron.

OBX in 2011 with hopes of us all being there in 2012
I thought I'd include a picture of a piece of my birthday cake. It was huge . After eating a bit of it for 3 days, Ron finally finished it.
