MARSHALL MADNESS

I had to name this post this because it's all about Marshall and it just seemed to go with it. No Marshall is nothing at all about madness, he is so cute and so much fun. I can't believe that he is 16 months old. He has developed his own personality and it is so sweet. When you hug Marshall he puts his arm around you and pats your back. Total sweetness. I love that he is getting older, but I don't want this time to pass by to quickly. We also enjoyed the day with Dylann and her post will come tomorrow.

He just worked and worked to get those coins in to the piggy.

He would get upset, but keep trying until he got them in.
Taking it easy on the job.

He knows how to turn the screw driver and turn the little plastic wheels.

Now he is back to the piggy bank.

He just worked and worked it until he'd get it.

He is showing Pappy how to work.

He needed a break and a sippy.

GOING ON A TRIAN RIDE

Tayler and Sydney's Pappy Rich works for Norfolk Southern. Every year around Christmas time the girls and their cousins join their Nana Doris and Pappy Rich on a train ride with Santa. I promise that this will be my last post that has any thing to do with Christmas but these pictures are so cute and need to be shared on my blog.

She now has five teeth out on the top.
She really needed to get at least two teeth for Christmas.

JUST JANUARY

The only thing going around our homes is cold, cold, weather and sickness. It seems all of the kids have had colds and the grown ups have followed in their path. Although I have had plenty of opportunity to take pictures I just haven't. I have found a few pictures that were not posted yet so I will use this and move on to taking pictures of my favorite people. Sydney during her Christmas program
And Sydney once again.

And one of Tayler.

HOW CAN IT BE

I looked at my blog this morning and could not believe that it has been 5 days since I posted something. I had a busy day but I want to get something new on this blog. Here a few pictures of some cute little ones.

Dylann loves her Daddy
And so does Marshall

GOING ON A TRACTOR RIDE

Although it's been cold outside Dylann and Marshall decided to go on a tractor ride. Marshall likes riding in the little wagon while Dylann drives him around.

Marshall is ready to get going. What a happy smile.

Looks like they loaded up the wagon with acorns.

Dylann is a good driver and really enjoys driving the tractor.
They are heading to the dear feeder.
Making sure the deer have plenty of food.
Marshall is a good helper as he takes care of the deer.

OVER THE RIVER AND THE SNOW

Over the river and through the woods, not the way we would travel to Old Pappy and Great Grandma's house, but we did get there. We took two different trips so all of children would be able to visit with them over Christmas. Dylann and Marshall were the first to visit. I wanted to get so many pictures and thought that we would have lots of time. I should have checked my battery and should have had extras with me. No such luck. Even if I don't have many pictures of their visit they had a wonderful time playing and I know Old Pappy and Grandma loved just watching them. Tayler and Sydney visiting with Old Pappy
Tayler, our little girl that loves to pose.
Tayler is their first great granddaughter.
She is followed by her little sister, Sydney.
Dylann is our third little girl and
is the big sister to their 1st great grandson.

Old Pappy and the little girls.
I always wonder what people think of us calling their Great Grandfather, "Old Pappy".
When Tayler was just beginning to talk in sentences she noticed her Pappy and his dad looked a lot alike. She said to Pappy, "you are my Pappy and he is our Old Pappy. That has stuck and that's what the four great grandchildren call him. He loves it, but I did put my foot down and said that we could not call Grand Grandma "Old Grandma".

One of the three pictures I got of Dylann and Marshall's, Dee Dee and her baby.

And little Marshall Grant.
Notice his little shirt has a number 4 on it.
We really wanted to get a picture of him and Old Pappy.
Old Pappy's middle name is Grant and Ron and Matt's middle names are Grant.

NEVER SAY NEVER

Last week I said I was done with Christmas and that would be the end of the Christmas pictures. I should never have said that because I knew that Ryann had pictures too. Well guess what? I have Christmas Day pictures of Dylann and Marshall. We will begin with their new Christmas outfits and then move on to opening gifts. The best part of Christmas for little ones. And this will be my very last post that hast any thing to do with Christmas this year.
All set to visit with family in their nice Christmas outfits. So cute.

Dylann loves her new backpack.

An activity desk.
A gift from Nana & Pappy.
Did Dylann get paint on her hands or
maybe it is glue, sprinkles or something else that was on the table.
She is going to have a blast playing here.
I think Dylann will spend hours here painting and coloring and Marshall will enjoy it too, once he is a little older. That may not be to long. He knows how to open the marker and color
on the magnetic board or put letters on the board.Stocking gifts are always the best.
The only gift Dylann really wanted. An easel.
When Santa visited her house on the 18th so all the boys and girls could tell him what they wanted Dylann told him she wanted an easel. Santa misunderstood what she said and asked her if she really wanted an eagle. We were hoping Santa wouldn't bring her an eagle.
A gift for Dylann and Marshall from Nana and Pappy A work bench. Check Spelling
Now Marshall can help Daddy when he needs help or even if he doesn't need it.
